When I started making cement jars it was because I wanted a refillable option. I began to struggle to keep up, and I really missed the flickering light and warm glow that you get from a glass jar. I did some digging and found these amazing heavy glass jars that clean up so easily for candle refill inserts! Cement jars are still available at retailers in the area, and occasionally here for a special run. Cement jar refills will always be available here as well. Candle care...
If I can, let me say one thing I have learned that truly makes a difference in how your candle burns and how long it lasts - TRIM YOUR WICK
Before you relight your candle, remove the burnt end of the wick. It makes relighting easier, keeps the flame at a safe height, and prevents smoking of the jar. The candle also burns cooler and more efficiently, making it last longer! You can use a wick trimmer, a scissors, or even just pinch off as much as you can with your fingers. Also, if you notice your flame dancing around and putting out soot, but you aren't ready to be done with your candle, blow out the candle and (with a scissors or wick trimmer) trim and relight it. You will notice a big difference.

I’m very picky about my candles! I want them to be non toxic & not overbearing smells when burning…these are perfect! Have loved every scent I’ve tried so far. Also really love the idea that they are refillable…such a great idea!!
The scents are outstanding! Long-lasting and natural, unlike some of the store-bought wax melts I’ve tried that are too “perfumey” or fade after a few hours in the warmer.

We discovered Wax Loon candles at the Northfield farmers market last summer. Since then, I can’t buy anything else! I love the creative scents and that they are the perfect strength for making sure our house smells lovely! I also appreciate the fact that we can reuse the concrete holder over and over again. Anything a little more eco friendly is always welcome!!
I was looking for something clean, yet a simple smell that doesn't overpower a room. I tried the Homebody scent and I'm sold! This smells amazing! I've enjoyed several different scented candles, diffusers and when Wax Loon introduced a room spray, I knew I had to try it. I love that all the products are clean in ingredients. Can't wait to see what other scents she comes out with!
